Mani and Pedi are derived from Latin words "Manus" and "Pedis" and means'Hand' and 'Foot' respectively.
The beauty treatment involving hand and foot is therefore known as Manicure and Pedicure. The purpose of this is to:
- Improve the appearance of the hands & feet so that they look more attractive.
- Keep both the fingernails and skin, smooth and soft.
- Keep the cuticles attractive and healthy.
- Reduce amount of hard skin on the feet.
- Relax the tired feet and aching feet.
A specialized Pedicure treatment at Rekha's will help you put the spring back into your tired and aching feet.
Both, Manicure and Pedicure treatments involves removing of existing nail enamel, filing (clipping if necessary) and buffing the nails followed by exfoliating the dead skin. Then the excess cuticles are cleaned. Applying nail enamel may be an additional option. A warm oil massage to the hand, foot and lower legs is also involved in the process.
