Waxing &  Sugaring

The wax depilation is an art involving the removal of facial and body hair popularly known as waxing. This involves removal of hair, which is visible, and also from the root. This results in new, softer and slower re-growth of hair. Waxing can be done on almost all parts of the body including arms, legs, bikiniline, lips, face and chin. Usually done by ladies, It is also becoming a treat for men as well!

The tradition of waxing can be traced back to the ancient Egyptian, Chinese and the Asian cultures. However, this method is becoming more popular within all communities around the world.

The wax treatment can be undertaken at home** and the idea is to remove all the hair from the treated area and to leave your skin smooth and softer each time. 

SUGARING

Sugaring is an all natural method of removing unwanted hair which originated in Egypt at least three centuries ago. Because the process is so simple, salon quality results can be achieved at home** with very little practice.  The sugaring method is similar to the waxing, except that the sugaring compound adheres only to the hair and not the skin, as wax does, there is less discomfort than with waxing.

 Because the hair is removed below the skin's surface, it is not uncommon for one application to last four to six weeks.

Which ever method is used, both are safe, since no harsh chemicals are used.

Occasionally people ask me if the waxing or sugaring compounds are things that can be made at home**. While the formula is not particularly complicated, the process of getting the ingredient, proportions, the precise temperature, and the cooking time right, is something of an art. My recommendation is that you purchase one of the better compounds on the market and this is precisely what I do in my salon.

The wax or sugaring compound is warmed and a thin layer of the compound is spread over the skin. Then a strip of cotton or muslin cloth is placed over and with a swift motion the cloth is pulled.

Contrary to popular belief, waxing or sugaring is not painful. 

Achieving great results with either Waxing or sugaring is remarkably easy!
